Boone Memorial Health invites families throughout the community to celebrate the start of a new school year at the Comfort Back-to-School Bash on Saturday, August 8, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Racine Park.
This free, family-friendly event will offer an exciting afternoon filled with activities, entertainment and helpful back-to-school resources for local children and their families. Everyone is welcome to attend.
Activities will include:
- Free backpacks filled with school supplies
- Free haircuts
- Free hot dogs and food
- Inflatable blow-ups
- Cornhole
- Water balloon toss
- Sand art
- Tropical Snow
- Magician Joey Stepp
- Prize giveaways
- Additional family-friendly activities
“Preparing for a new school year should be an exciting time for children and their families,” said Jeff Mosteller, Chief Clinic Services Officer at Boone Memorial Health. “Through the Comfort Back-to-School Bash, we hope to provide families with helpful resources while giving children an opportunity to enjoy a fun and memorable day in their community.”
The event reflects Boone Memorial Health’s continued commitment to supporting the communities it serves beyond the walls of its clinics and hospital.
