New Walk-In Hours

To better serve our patients, BMH Comfort Clinic has expanded its walk-in availability. No appointment is needed during the following hours:

  • Monday – Friday: 8:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.

Simply walk in during these hours, and our team will take care of you.
The clinic’s regular hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.

Meet Our Providers

Michael Peterson, DO, FACEP

Dr. Michael Peterson provides family medicine and walk-in care for patients of all ages. He treats minor illnesses and injuries. Dr. Peterson is certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine. He earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine and a Master of Science in Medical Science from Alderson Broaddus in Philippi, West Virginia.

Amanda Messer, FNP-BC

Amanda Messer is a board-certified family nurse practitioner and advanced practice provider specializing in family medicine. She welcomes patients by appointment and on a walk-in basis. Her services include preventive care, treatment of minor illnesses and injuries, chronic disease management, and referrals to specialists. Amanda earned both her Master of Science in Nursing and Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain University in Addison, Illinois. She received her associate degree in nursing from Southern West Virginia Community and Technical College.
