Boone Memorial Health is proud to partner with the American Red Cross to host an upcoming Community Blood Drive on Friday, May 22, from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Danville Community Center, located at 731 Hopkins Avenue in Danville, West Virginia.

Community members are encouraged to roll up their sleeves and help make a lifesaving difference. Every blood donation has the potential to save up to three lives, and donations are critically needed to help patients facing surgeries, cancer treatments, traumatic injuries, chronic illnesses, and other medical emergencies.

The American Red Cross plays a vital role in maintaining the nation’s blood supply, providing blood and blood products to hospitals and healthcare facilities across the country. Blood donations are needed every day, and local drives like this one help ensure that lifesaving resources are available when patients need them most.

Blood donors make an incredible impact in the lives of others; this blood drive is an opportunity for our community to come together and support patients and families in need through one simple act of kindness.

Appointments are encouraged to help ensure a smooth donation process, though walk-ins may be accepted if space allows.
