Boone Memorial Health is proud to share that our President and CEO, Virgil Underwood, has been appointed to serve on the WV Rural Health Transformation Program (RHTP) Advisory Panel.
This nearly $200 million federal investment represents a once-in-a-generation opportunity to strengthen rural healthcare across West Virginia. Virgil’s firsthand experience serving Southern West Virginia will bring a valuable, on-the-ground perspective to the panel as this important work moves forward.
We extend our sincere gratitude to West Virginia Department of Health Secretary Dr. Arvin Singh and Governor Patrick Morrisey for their leadership and for the opportunity to contribute to this transformative effort.
