CT Scan

Transforming your experience with the Canon Aquilion ONE Genesis Dynamic Volume 320-Slice CT Scanner

The Aquilion ONE offers the next leap forward in CT technology. With the power of volumetric scanning, the Acquilion ONE offers greater precision for diagnosis and treatment and a faster, safer CT experience for patients.

Key benefits of the Acquilion ONE CT Scanner include:

  • Faster scan time
  • Lower radiation dose
  • Tailored imaging experience
  • Excellent image quality (higher resolution output)
  • Advanced technology
  • Wide-open space for a better patient experience
  • Higher patient weight limit

The Canon Acquilion ONE maximizes the patient experience during CT examinations. Through intelligent examination protocols, it provides excellent image quality with low radiation and contrast doses tailored to each and every patient. The Acquilion ONE brings the power of volumetric scanning, ideal for faster scan times, lower radiation dose, high resolution, and the possibility of lower contrast dose.

The Acquilion ONE has been designed with a unique flared gantry, providing a calming, wide-open space for a better patient experience. The short bore is safer, with improved access to the patient from the front and rear of the gantry. During trauma and interventional procedures, patients can easily be cared for from the front and rear of the gantry.

The scanner incorporates advanced technologies to provide a better experience for both the patient and the clinician. Technologies such as AiCE and SEMAR provide the clinician with the confidence that they require to assure a correct diagnosis.

AiCE is an innovative Deep Learning Reconstruction technology that has been trained to reduce noise and increase the spatial resolution to deliver sharp, clear, and distinct images fast, as well as provide a low radiation dose hi-resolution exam to every patient.

Canon’s SEMAR (Single Energy Metal Artifact Reduction) utilizes a technique to reduce metallic artifacts, improving visualization of implants and adjacent soft tissues for a clearer and more confident diagnosis. This helps provide an artifact-free image for patients with metallic implants, such as bilateral hip or knee replacements.
