Cardiologist Dr. Casey Hager accepts patients for the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of a wide variety of heart diseases. His office is located at the BMH Family Medical Center on the main hospital campus. These are among the more common conditions that Dr. Hager diagnoses and treats:

Cardiac Testing

Patients can receive the following stress tests at Boone Memorial Hospital:

  • Nuclear stress testing (Exercise, Lexiscan or Dobutamine)
  • Exercise stress echocardiography
  • Dobutamine stress echocardiography

Patients can receive the following tests to monitor their heart rhythms at Boone Memorial Hospital:

  • Outpatient holter or long term (up to one month) cardiac monitoring
  • Electrical Cardioversion
  • Inpatient anti-arrhythmic administration in our new state of the art unit with continuous monitoring

Patients can receive the following Chronic Heart Failure (CHF) and Valvular Heart Disease tests at Boone Memorial Hospital:

  • Transthoracic echocardiography
  • Transesophageal echocardiography performed in minor surgery suite

Boone Memorial Health has the following Vascular Medicine testing capabilities available at Boone Memorial Hospital:

  • Carotid Duplex Ultrasonography
  • Ankle Brachial Index screening for lower extremity Peripheral disease with as needed Duplex Ultrasonography
  • Abdominal Aneurysm Ultrasonography
  • Computed Tomography (CT) to evaluate for thoracic or abdominal aneurysm
  • Renal Duplex Ultrasonography to evaluate for renal artery stenosis
