Boone Memorial Health, in partnership with the City of Madison, proudly announces the return of Merry Madison Christmas, an exciting, month-long celebration designed to bring joy and holiday spirit to the community.
Merry Madison Christmas kicks off November 29, 2025, with a festive tree lighting ceremony. The fun continues through December 28th with a variety of family-friendly activities that include an outdoor ice skating rink, a Christmas tree decorating contest, the City’s annual Christmas parade, and a free concert that features America’s Got Talent Season 6 winner, Laundau Eugene Murphy, Jr.
The full 2025 Merry Madison Christmas event list is posted below. All public activities are free of charge, including ice-skating. (Food vendors will be required to pay a fee to participate).

Skates are provided at the rink – sizes up to men’s 13, which some pairs fitting up to 14.5-15.
