The Centers for Organ Recovery & Education (CORE) hosted the 2024 Donate Life West Virginia Hospital Challenge Awards Ceremony and Luncheon at the Stonewall Resort on August 29th to honor the remarkable contributions of West Virginia’s hospital partners in promoting organ donation awareness during Donate Life Month, held each April. The special awards luncheon, held to recognize the exceptional efforts of these healthcare heroes, was a testament to their unwavering commitment to the cause.

The Donate Life Hospital Challenge is an initiative designed to encourage hospitals to increase awareness about organ donation and transplantation. Hospitals earn points through a variety of activities such as educational events, outreach campaigns, training programs, and patient and family engagement.
