Our next round of classes begin June 5 & 6.
This year-long program, which began in 2018, has been researched and certified by the CDC (Centers for Disease Control).
Participants receive education and resources regarding nutrition, stress reduction, healthy living, and diabetes prevention. Learn to read food labels, count calories and carbs, control portion sizes, and more. In addition, participants will learn about mindless and emotional eating as well as physical activity and the importance of getting adequate sleep.
Classes will be held at 1607 Smoot Avenue in Danville, WV (next to United Bank). Participants can choose from attending weekly classes on Wednesdays at 10 a.m. or 4:30 p.m., or on Thursdays at 5:30 p.m. Each class lasts approximately an hour.

- Healthy diet
- Portion control
- Calorie and carb counting
- How to become more physically fit
- How to be empowered to make lasting changes
