

Adam Richardson named BMH Employee of the Year
At its annual hospital award's banquet, held Thursday May 2nd, Boone Memorial Hospital awarded Adam Richardson the coveted title of Employee of the Year 2019. "I was so shocked," said Adam. "There are so many people at the hospital who are deserving of this award." Adam is Manager of the Emergency Department, Emergency Preparedness Coordinator and Instructor in PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) and CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation)


BMH to hold free black lung outreach in Wharton, WV on June 14th
The Black Lung Center at Boone Memorial Hospital has been open just over a year and tested nearly 1,000 miners, several of whom have been awarded their federal black lung benefits.
