THE INFUSION CENTER HAS TEMPORARILY MOVED FROM ROOM 215

(2nd FLOOR) TO ROOM 150 IN THE SURGERY DEPARTMENT (1st FLOOR)

Patients presenting to the hospital for infusion therapy services should proceed to the surgery department waiting area after registering. Patients will then be directed to Room 150.

The outpatient infusion center at Boone Memorial Hospital provides services to patients who require IV therapy, PICC placement, injections and infusions.

TYPES OF IV ACCESS DEVICES THAT MAY BE MANAGED:

  • Peripherally Inserted Central Catheters (PICC)

  • Midline Catheters

  • Other Central Venous Access Devices

  • Implanted Ports

  • Peripheral IV Catheters

 

INFUSION SERVICES:

  • PICC & Midline Catheter (Placement, Maintenance, Removal)

  • Antibiotic Therapy

  • Immunoglobulin (IVIG)

  • Iron Replacement Therapy

  • Biologics

  • Specialty Injections

  • Monoclonal Antibodies (Including COVID-19)

  • Blood Transfusions*

  • Therapeutic Phlebotomy

  • IV Hydration

  • Central Line Blood Sampling

  • Treatment for Occluded Catheters

  • Infusion Pump Disconnections
