West Virginia Donor Day is held annually on August 1. BMH has become part of this incredible movement in supporting organ donation by encouraging loved ones—family, friends, neighbors, even coworkers—to sign up as organ donors.
8/1 represents the number of lives that can be saved by one person donating their organs. BMH employees and leadership wore blue and green (national donate life colors) on WV Donor Day and shared goodies, resources, and education about organ donation in order to inspire others and create positive change.
