Boone Memorial Hospital
Would like to congratulate
Randy Foxx as the BMH Employee of the Year and
Recipient of the  James F. Trusley Sr. Award of Excellence

This year’s recipient of the James F. Trusley Award of Excellence is Randy Foxx who is known for his extreme dedication, excellent work ethics, knowledge and insight in his area of expertise. Randy Foxx has spent nearly 37 years as Executive Director of Financial Services at Boone Memorial Hospital. His duties consist of Accounting, Billing, Collections, Insurance and Executive Director over Registration as well as many other tasks. He effectively manages a staff of approximately fourteen employees.

It’s difficult to put into words how to describe this year’s recipient.  A fixture, well that doesn’t do it, an icon, well maybe so.  But one thing is for sure, when you talk about this year’s award winner, you always associate him to Boone Memorial Hospital.

This employee has always personified what an employee should be in the work place. Randy has always been dedicated to his job and like wise the hospital has always been part of his family. You see him come and go, but you could never set your watch by him because long hours are not measured by the hands of the clock. Every department and every function in our hospital has the touch of this years Trusley Award winner.

And once the hours are done at BMH the day is not done.  Well, not for this person.  We are talking about someone who dedicates his life to the well being of others.  Sometimes it may be by working at their Church, or by the civic organizations he belongs to, but one thing is for certain, caring about others seems to be his way of life.

Randy graduated from Gary High School and attended Morris Harvey College. He received certification in Accounting from Indiana University.

This is a long serving employee, who has seen us through thick and thin, but has always been there to help in any way.

Randy was truly honored by the award. “I enjoy helping others and working with all the employees and people associated with the hospital,” said Randy.

“Randy is witty, always has a joke to lighten your day, dedicated to his job and is a mainstay at BMH. He is respected in the community and knows the ins and outs of BMH like the back of his hand,” said Sheliah Cook, Human Resources Director.

Randy and his wife Judy reside in Madison and attend the Bible Center Church. They have two sons, Sonny and Chris, a daughter, Cherri, son in law, Doug and five grandchildren, Zak, Haleigh, Kirk, John and Christina.

Randy enjoys camping, boating, golf and most of all the grandchildren.

Congratulations Randy! You truly deserve this award.
