The Board of Trustees are appointed to their positions by the Boone County Commission. They are the leading governing body of the hospital. Their responsibilities are to hire the administrator and set hospital rules that effect all of the medical staff and employees of the hospital. As a business leader or concerned citizen of Boone County, each member’s ultimate desire is for the improved quality of health care to area residents. Each trustee has shown excellent leadership abilities and a dedication to the understanding of the ever-changing field of health care. The Board of Trustees’ eagerly donates their time to attend all necessary board meetings and educational programs. They also show support to the facility by attending other events of the hospital through out the year.
